The QIB (UK) Real Estate team comprises of Real Estate banking and investment professionals with a wealth of accumulated experience in finance, investment, fund management, asset management and development. Real Estate Advisory and Asset Management Services

QIB (UK) provides a full range of Real Estate asset management services. This includes the structuring of bespoke Real Estate investment products, transactional due diligence, underwriting and execution services, fund & debt raising, Shari'a compliant structuring, ongoing asset management, project monitoring and investor reporting.

Additionally the team undertakes remedial asset management assignments including the formulation of Real Estate financial strategies, property by property business plans and debt restructuring negotiations with financiers

Real Estate Finance

QIB (UK) provides Murabaha mezzanine financing secured against good quality Real Estate investment and development assets to both an Islamic and conventional client base. The mezzanine product is particularly innovative in that it allows QIB (UK) as an Islamic financier to co-exist with a conventional Bank within the same financing structure whilst fully satisfying Shari'a requirements and guidelines.

The mezzanine product has proved popular with both investment and development clients seeking to bridge the 'funding gap' which has arisen in recent years due to both the reduced availability and restrictive terms of traditional senior finance.

Investment Placement

Working as both a principal distributor and alongside other members of the QIB Group, QIB (UK) sources Real Estate linked investment products for placement amongst an active and growing investor base.

The Real Estate team maintains strong relationships with leading banking, investment, development and professional counter-parties active in the UK and European Real Estate markets. This range of contacts enables the Bank to discretely deliver on and off-market investment opportunities and provide high quality technical professional services.
